Use of Email Addresses: The Model Car Hub does maintain various opt-in newsletter subscriber lists, as well as customer lists from persons who have ordered product on our site. The newsletter lists require that the user select to receive them. Often this is done using our online forms for various interactive site features, such as the "make-it" feature, classified ads, archive access, and others. If a user does not select to receive the newsletter while using these services, then we do not initiate any further contact with that user. If the user does select to receive our regular email newsletter (opt-in), we do follow up with a notice of that request. Our mailing list management service is ListBot.com, and they allow for easy unsubscribe procedures in every email that is sent our subscribers. These mailings from the Model Car Hub may also contain relevant offers for products or services of interest to model car enthusiasts. For customers of products on the Model Car Hub site, where a prior business arrangement has been established, we may occasionally send notification of special offers for our products and services. These are also managed using ListBot.com, and may be easily unsubscribed at any time. The Model Car Hub or ListBot.com DOES NOT rent our email lists to any third party, for any purpose. However, in accordance with long-established direct mail industry practices, we may make available the postal mail addresses (not email addresses) of product and service customers of the Model Car Hub. Please be aware that the nature of the "ModelFinder" model search service on the Model Car Hub site requires that we transmit posts made on this site service to other product vendors in the model car industry. These transmissions will include the email address of the site user making the request, so that the vendors may deal directly with the user making the request. You may request a current copy of this vendor list at anytime by writing to us at modelcarhub@earthlink.net. We have no control over how those vendors use the information transmitted to them, however, we do request that they use it one time only, to correspond with users as to their availability of the requested item. The Model Car Hub is not responsible or liable for the inappropriate use of the information provided to vendors using the ModelFinder search service, and users may wish to refer to the privacy policies of the sites contained on our current vendor list.
