Mark Melchiori is from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, the hometown city of Alan Kulwicki.

It's a place where racing is tough, where local tracks like Slinger Speedway draw some of the biggest names in stock car racing. Alan is certainly a hero in Wisconsin. He proved that his Wisconsin racing roots were just the ticket to a NASCAR Winston Cup Championship. In the time since his death, many more ASA  regulars have had a shot at the Cup.

This model is Mark Melchiori's tribute to Alan's racing roots. It represents Alan's ASA car, before he made it to the top of the heap. The model is based on Revell's old ASA kits, but with a pile of modification. We'll have the details soon.
