Graig Sneed's Work Truck
Graig is from Springfield, Missouri, and has quietly been showing us some of the most well-thought out and well crafted models we've seen in recent years.
In Graigs on words:
"The wrecker started life as an AMT 50 chevy pick-up. The model is completely wired and plumbed using several aftermarket products. The bed and boom are all scratchbuilt from plastic, aluminum, and wood. I turned some fo the pieces on my lathe.
Tires and wheels are from an old ESCI land cruiser kit and I resin cast the rear 3/4 ton hubs. I threw in some photo-reduced items that I made at home and completed the kit with paint from Floquil and I used several stains and pastel chalks to complete the weathering."
Other notes are from the Hub editors:

That beat-up tire on the bumber is a real piece of work! This model takes time to see al
the details, like the opened cowl vent door.

The scratchbuilt rear bed push-brackets are just one example of the subtle details that
Graig builds into his projects.
Thanks, Graig!
